Siamese Dreams

So our lovely author, Kitty, sent me the first four hardbound collective books of The Walking Dead from Image comics. Seriously, that is some FANTASTIC stuff. If you guys haven’t read it, give it a go. It’s definitely inspiring me to amp up my art and aspire for that level of OMG AWESOMENESS!

… that’s pretty much all I got. Oh, and You’ll start seeing the updates that Kitty was talking about in her last post in the beginning of April. I’m working on another project right now that’s eating my time like some kind of time-eating zombie. Or something… yeah.

News, news, news! T2M is getting a little bit of a face lift! You’ll see a new logo on the site soon, slightly different page formats and a few pages being redrawn. This will not interrupt our normal Friday page uploads. When things change I’ll keep you updated. The pages being reformatted are so they can easily be sent directly to a nifty little webcomic publisher for printing in paper format. As soon as its available I’ll put a link up to purchase hard copies. The price is extremely reasonable for printing, we just need to look into the shipping cost and quantity to see how the prices are best lined up for you guys.

Art previously drawn by Nikki C. and myself will be presented as original concept panel artwork on a special section of the website for fan submissions and concept art. If any of you readers have something fantabulous that you’d like to see up there- whether its poetry or a story or art work- send it in and we’ll post it along with whatever name you want it listed under. We love the love: send lots.

Book Five is finished being written, edited and proofed. We’re on to Book Six. That leaves only one to follow before the current arc is wrapped. I’m so excited! Also Aaron the Peanut is working on a cover for Book One. It’ll be a full cover to cover product in no time!

The past week has been a chore to say the least. Between another sick, work, and a blustery child I didn’t get anywhere near enough done on the latest page. Cue blustery child again today and I didn’t finish the page today either. I’m going to go ahead and just call it. No page for last week, I’m just going to reset. Next page will be up Friday.

Sorry for the delay. Real life can be such a chore sometimes.

Where is the comic you might ask? Well, that’s a marvelous question. The comic, is sitting unfinished about 100 miles away from me because I, like the brainless undead feind that I am, forgot to pack it when my wife and I packed up to go and visit the inlaws. I. Are. Teh. Smart.

Should be up Sunday evening. My new years resolution? Stop being stupid.

Hi guys!

I hate to say it, but the Aarpie is running late YET AGAIN >_< Between work, sick, and holidays, it has just not been my time of the year to stay on top of things. Hopefully, this will be the last late of the year. Page 16 will be up tomorrow. Can you guys believe we’re only 9 pages away from finishing up book two? Last Friday of February will see the start of book three! It’s only going to get crazier from here guys. Kitty’s got this story converging in ways that I never imagined. Safe to say: You’re all going to have your minds blown

To all of our awesome fans who scower the seedy shadows of the interwebs at all hours of the night to be the first to see the update to their favorite monster/zombie themed comic (Ten2Midnight, of course), I salute you!

And also tell you not to worry when no page comes up at midnight like I try for every week. I have had an epic battle with a sick this week which has adversely affected my arting. Bastard sick. BUT, the page will go up tomorrow, just sometime after 6 or 7 EST US. It’s almost done now and I’m going to keep working on it tonight, but I’m nearing the end of my awakedness and I have a feeling the page is going to outlast me.

All that to say: The page will be up tomorow evening, not tomorrow morning Thanks for understanding!

I’ve been doodling on any form of paper I could get my hands on since I was a lil kid. To me, paper was paper… until I got into T2M with Kitty. I got my hands on some EON illustration boards the other week and used it for page 14 on book 2. Holy crap that stuff is awesome O_O I went back to my Strathmore stuff and realized… I really freaking hate it O_O But I’ve got like 20 pages of it left, and dammit I gotta use it whether I want to or not lol. Can’t wait to get into the rest of my EON stuff… sometime in book three *sobs* Paper DOES matter… who knew?

Anywho, I also wanted to give you guys an update on what’s going on behind the scenes for me and teh Kitty Kat. Some of you were awesome to remind us that we missed our Halloween release of Stygian theatre, and you’re totally right. The blame falls squarely on me for that one. Kitty’s gotten three amazing stories drafted for it already, but real life has sucked all the time out of me for illustrating anything other than T2M. But have no fear! The constant arting of T2M has actually gotten me to where I work pretty fast now. I have a couple of outstanding design and illustration promises to fulfill and once they are, I’ll be working on Stygian in my spare time. Hopefully we’ll have the first strips up for it by early next year. I’ll give a more solid date once I have a few pages done

As far as Ten2Midnight goes, we’re well into book 2 and I’m loving it so far. Kitty has been diligently working on the other books and before too long here, I think the NY story arc will be done (book 7 marks the end of that arc… for now at least). But that’s not the end of T2M. Kitty’s got at least two more arcs after that, if not three. So you guys will have plenty of T2M to come Also, we should have a T2M store here pretty soon with T-shirts, mugs, mousepads, all the typical CafePress fare, and eventually the print compilations of the comic.

So anyway, all that to say, your Siamese Dreams buddies are workin’ hard to keep ya happy Stay tuned for more upcoming funz

Actually, I _MEANT_ Saturday, but trying to work on a comic page mid traveling is a PAIN. Sorry I missed my late deadline on this one guys! Hope the page was worth the extended wait.
